Ortsheimatpfleger Erwin-Heinrich Dübbert hat eine weitere Ausgabe der Heimatblätter herausgebracht. Zwischenzeitlich ist dieses Ausgabe auch online unter Service – Ossendorfer Heimatblätter abrufbar.
In der neuen Ausgabe der Ossendorfer Heimatblätter hat Dübbert Auszüge aus der Ossendorfer Dorfchronik der Jahre 1835, 1885 und 1905 veröffentlicht. Weiterhin wird über 200 Jahre Westfalen berichtet. Ortsvorsteher Jürgen Rabbe stellt das Ossendorfer Dorffest, das am 5. und 6. September stattfinden soll, vor. Bei diesem Dorffest stehen die Vereine im Fokus des Geschehens. »Die einzelnen Vereine stellen ihre Angebote vor und laden zum Mitmachen ein«, berichtet Dübbert.
Mehrere Seiten widmen sich der Urfassung des Ossendorfer Heimatbuches aus dem Jahre 1966, das der damalige Hauptlehrer Anton Plass verfasst hat. Die Geschehnisse und Ereignisse des ersten Halbjahres 2014 sind ebenso in den Heimatblättern abgedruckt, ebenso eine Buchvorstellung über Westfalen und seine historische Entwicklung. Herausgeber der Heimatblätter ist der Schützenverein.
